Logical Analysis Of The Concept "Existence"

Since ancient Greece people have been interested in existential issue .but the deep research on it starts from the emergence of modern logic. The dissertation makes a objective and detailed exposition on different views at home and abroad ,has a comment on them and gives author's own opinion at last.The dissertation consists of four parts:Part one: The emerge and development of existential issue is derived from "ontological argument for the existence of God" .Kant pointed out that "existence is not a real predicate", which opened up a completely new train of research thought.Part two: The philosophical source and logical analysis of existential issue. Existential issue originated Parmenides' discussion of world source . After Aristotle's classification of "existence". We argue how to analysis existence issue at the sight of normal and modern logical analysis of existential issue .Part three: It firstly discusses whether existence is a logical predicate then discusses Quine's"to be is to be the value of a variable" .In the end ,we has a comment on all kinds of theories.Part four: further research on existential issue. The author describes three basic meanings of "existence", the prerequisites to understand "existence" as a predicate and the basic semantic function of "existence" as a predicate.
