A Study Of Usability In Industry Design

Usability is one of the most important criterions of a good design. Many designers have made great efforts for this criterion for a long time. Anyway, with the quick development of electron technology and extensive usage of network, all kinds of high-tech products appear, which endow "usability" with some new meaning. Especially, Usability Engineering , as a subject based on computer medium and interface design, have made contribute for usability study. This dissertation will regard Usability Engineering as a guidance and put the study achievement of engineers ,economists ,administers into the field of industry design. Then find common point in order to make the theory serve for industry design better.By analyzing Chinese particular table tool, kuaizi, by forecasting the developing trend, I put forward some new points in this dissertation. The main solutions of the dissertation are as follows:⑴Usability as a single main object is firstly put forward in the dissertation, which is significant in theory.⑵By analyzing international present different understand of usability ,an organic concept on Usability is put forward in this dissertation.⑶Give interface a new definition and argue that interface include web page, plane marker and solid operative platform.⑷Put the Usability theory of web design and software design into the field of product design, then redefine Usability in order to make usability of different design have their own evaluative coordinate .⑸Provide a new Usability process which is suitable to product design. The process is helpful to our usability design practice.Finally, the dissertation advocate a healthy and happy life situation, advocate a social connection full of care , love and trust.
