It is a special kind of sentence pattern that the adverbial clause is a Subject-predicate structure. It has the distinct characters. But no one has studied it. This paper describes and analyses the syntaxes, semantics and pragmatics of this sentence pattern based on the theory of Three Grammatical Aspects. At first, this paper describes the form of " S + Sadverbial + VPadverbial +VP". Then it searches their semantic relations between their compositions. There are six relations between the S and Sadverbial ——components, attributes, time-place, repeat, reasons ,indirect relation; The whole clause can be divided into two events: event 1 ——S + VP, event 2—— Sadverbial + VPadverbial . There are four semantic relations between the event 2 and event 1: appearance and action ,pattern and action ,result and action ,reason and action. The characters of" S + Sadverbial + VPadverbial +VP" come from the adverbial served by subject-predicate structure. And so this paper search the semantic and syntax characters of "Sadverbial + VPadverbial "and has discovered that it have these characters as below : emphasis, main body appearance, be untenable by itself. This paper analyses the syntactic characteristics of VP. The V of VP tends to be followed by "zhe" ("着") and "le" ("了") because of the restraint of the whole sentence pattern's meaning. However, it limits "guo" ("过")and rejects "VV" ,"V一V" and "V一下".In order to appear the syntactic value of this pattern, the paper compares this one with " S + Sattribute + VPattribute +VP", and study how the pattern is used on the passive construction. At last, it describes the external environment of the sentence pattern be used in.
