In this thesis, subject-subject-predicate(s-s-p) specially refers to the sentencepattern possessing a predicate, which can be further divided into a subject, and apredicate. This sentence pattern has the strong function of making sentence.Zhudexi, a famous Chinese linguist once said the s-s-p is one of the mostimportant Chinese sentence pattern and should be recognized as fundamental ass-v-o sentence pattern. Therefore, it is necessary for us to analyze it.Now the study is more and more focusing on the sentence pattern in modernChinese, which in ancient times Chinese is rarely mentioned. So this thesis'object of study is subject-subject-predicate patterns in Zuozhuan, We analyzethis sentence pattern from various angles, describe its syntax structure and studyits semantic structure. Through this thorough description, we can obtain acomplete view of this sentence.For syntax structure, we describe every component of this sentence in detail.For example, the major subject, minor subject and predicate.For semantic structure, we analyze three semantic structure types by thesemantic relations of components.This thesis provides the full, accurate, all-sided truth of this language. It hasthe values of theories and materials in the research of subject-subject-predicatepatterns.
