The Study On Mental Health And Crisis Intervention Of Impoverished Students

The proportion and quantity of impoverished students in university are increasing in these years. These impoverished students endure double pressures of economy and study as the puniness colony. They have more problems about mental health and need more effective psychological crisis intervention.The survey is focused on college students of impoverished students of Hohai University. The SCL-90 and social support rating scale were used in them. The result of the survey shows that the psychological health condition of impoverished students is worse than that of non-impoverished students; the status of mental health is correlated with social support significantly especially subjective support and utilization of social support in impoverished university students; there are diversity in difference grade, gender, subject and so on.The difference of mental health between vary colony and the cause of psychological crisis formation are put forward based on the statistics, and some contra posing advice and measures are also raised.
