The Research On Dingshande's Later Piano Works

Content: Dingshande is one of composers,pianists,educationalists,theorists and actioists of the second generation who are the most representative and influential in Chinese musical circles of the twentieth centries.He plays an active role in the development of Chinese contemporary musical form and it's content's deeping.As everyone knows,Mr.Dingshande is a composer who changes his style from playing an instrumental performance to the musical creation. In me creative career of almost half a century,he does desultory reading in all kinds of musical styles,but he prefers to piano musical works.In all of his thirty-six musical works in serial numbers,piano music has occupied eighteen ones from the suite of in 1945 to three piano music of Chinese folk songs(op.36) in 1992.He both lays stress on the western composing theory and absorbs factors of Chinese national music,as a result,he creates a few of magnificent piano musical works which greatly enrich Chinese piano musical documents.He exercises an active influence over other composers.A number of composers,for example,Luo zhongrong and Chengmingzhi absorb his creative essence.Although,domestic musical circle attaches great importance to Dingshande's musical creation.For example,piano works.In the course of researching, people do the painstaking study of piano musical works on the 1940s and 1950s,but they don't make clear piano musical study in the later period of Mr.Ding's creation,that's after the 1980s.This period from 1983 to 1992 belongs to the laterperiod of Mr.Ding's creation,who adopts the extensive tune and the free method of twelve musical skills.However ,he only talks in generalities about bis later works in his research and he doesn't make an overall investigation of Dingshande's later piano musical works from the viewpoint of value of the arts and aesthetic value,thus,I think that it's necessary to probe into creative technique of Dingshande's later piano music and it's influence to Chinese contemporary piano music futher.In view of the above,I take the piano musical creation of Dingshande as the task of my thesis with the proposal of my tutor.On the basis of the predcessor's study,I lay my research stress on piano musical works in Dingshande's later period and elaborate the far-reachinginfluence of developing threads,creative technique,musical style and the development of Chinese music one by one.
