Cui Shiguang Of Piano Works

In the1970s, the “culture revolution” has reached its last breath,while Chinese folk music was braking the chains and entering the periodof resuscitation. Among the musicians who started their researches ofChinese folk music, Mr. Cui shiguang was the one in piano filed.The mostremarkable contribution from Mr.Cui was his great success in combiningChinese folk music with western composing techniques and its logics. Insome way, he reformed Chinese folk music. We are here to study on someof his piano pieces, so that we might be able appreciate more of his newworks.
