| Nowadays with the rapid development of science and technology, economic, military,scientific and technological competitions in all nations focus on the competition of talents, thecore of which consists in quality. It is acknowledged that affective education has played animportant role in human beings' comprehensive qualities. Sentimental education must be ofan essential task in piano instruction in conform to a thorough change from examinationeducation to quality education of the today's educational system for the realization of theprinciples of both human education and talent education. Affective education has influenceupon students' affective states and intentions to from a healthy aesthetic sense gradually. Onthe basis of the research on Sentimental education in piano teaching, this paper explores therelationship between piano teaching and the development of sentimental education in all-levelschools to exert its effects on improving beings' qualities. This paper consists of two major parts: The first part makes an analysis of sentimental education as the essential way toimplement quality education. It discusses the necessity, nature and value of sentimentaleducation. The second part puts forward a strategy of infiltrating sentimental education into pianoteaching. It discusses the importance of sentimental education in piano teaching, its aim of thecreativity of beauty, and the scientific way of renewing the instructing contents to developstudents' aesthetic sense on the scientific instructing level. Piano music comes into people's spiritual life in its specific way. Especially in the courseof piano teaching in the higher education colleges, piano music with its active and powerfulfeatures becomes an advantageous means to train students' aesthetic sense. Where there is afine aesthetic sense, there is a noble mind.
