During the Wei dynasty, the Jing dynasty, the Southern and Northern dynasties, lots of aristocratic families moved from the North to the South. But after a time, some of them moved back to the North which had been ruled by other nationalities. They were called BEI GUI ARISTOCRATIC FAMILIES. The BEI GUI ARISTOCRATIC FAMILIES included Tai Yuan Wang family, Qin He Chui family, Lang Ya Wang family, Bo Hai Diao family and so on.There are many reasons lead to the migration. In the South, the living condition of became poorer and poorer, because the focus of the politics turned from the aristocratic families back to the king. And the Southern governments changed very frequently, which led to the combats between the aristocratic families. They were the direct reasons of the migration. In addition, the minorities which ruled the North were assimilating by the Han nationality. The military pressure which was exerted by the North to the south became heavier and heavier. The Northern and Southern government had different attitudes to the escaped people. They were the indirect reasons of the migration.Compared with other aristocratic families, the BEI GUI ARISTOCRATIC FAMILIES had tortuous experiences. Some aristocratic families were very prosperous after moved back to the North, but some lost their positions. Some aristocratic families such as Tai Yuan Wang family chose "the Centralization development model", and Bo Hai Diao family chose " the Localization development model". They all developed successful in the North. But other aristocratic families such as Lang Ya Wang could not exert a suitable development strategy, so it fell off in the North.During the Wei dynasty, the Jing dynasty, the Southern and Northern dynasties, China was divided into two parts: the North and the South. There were lots of differences between the North and the South in many respects. After moved back to the North, some Bei Gui aristocratic families approached the Northern aristocratic families in manyrespects. On the other hand, they reformed the North society. These two different trends formed the reciprocity. This reciprocity affected the Chinese ancient culture greatly. Some had great influence to the military action of the North and the South, specially in the military action of "the middle region". The North government utilized to absorb the powerful aristocratic families in "the middle region". On the other side, the Bei Gui aristocratic families took part in these military action to earn the political qualification for their sustained development.
