According to Marxism, the degree of women's participation in the social labor is an important standard to judge women's liberation and status. The higher the degree of their participation is, the higher the degree of women's liberation and status in the society is. So is on the contrary. Therefore, it is proper to infer the women's rights and interests and statuses in Qin and Han dynasties according to this view.In Qin and Han dynasties, in the dual background of thought and economy, on one hand the restraint on the women was weaker, on the other hand the fast development of economy also request more women's participation in the social labor. Just because of this, the women had complete social adult identity, and accordingly, the women can participate in labor in various fields comprehensively. Therefore, the women in that period not only owned the social rights and interests to participate in politics and to be educated, but also they had rights and interests to inherit and control property and marriage independently, etc. All these showed concretely that the women in Qin and Han dynasties had superior status than those in the following dynasties.Begin with the introduction, which consists of three aspects: the origin of the choice of the title, the review of the previous academic research in this field, the angle and method of my research, this paper is divided into five parts totally. The first part profoundly inspects the women's activities in the society, especially in three aspects: agriculture, handicraft industry and business. The second part profoundly analyzes the women's consumption. It showed that the more the women consumed, the more important they are in their families. The third part analyzed the women's function to the family economy and their economic rights and interests. It showed that just because of these economic rights and interests, the women got higher status in their families. On the basis of the study in the previous three parts, the fourth part systematically analyzed the women's rights and interests and mental attitude in political and social life. The last part is the conclusion, which summarizes the women's social status and social adult identity.
