Researches about subjective well-being(SWB) was promoted in 1960s in America, in 1980s,researchers in our country show concerns for SWB, then, many researches about theories and experiments of SWB was presented in succession. Life events is a important objective effect factor on SWB.Systematic research about relation between life events and college students'SWB is not founded in our country,this research take a try on it.Thus it can enrich the theories of SWB,on the other hand,it also supplies some reference for later experiment research on SWB. This essay is to investigate the effects of life events on SWB of college students,how coping style and social support affect the relation between life events and college students'SWB.The results are demonstrated as following: 1.There is no difference between male and female students on the whole SWB and positive affect, the difference between male and female students is significant on life satisfaction and negative affect, the scores of female students on life satisfaction are higher than male students,but on negative affect are lower than male students.The difference between male and female students is significant on life events,the scores of male students are higher than female students on study stress,punishment and health adapt. 2.The difference is significant between students came from different places on life satisfaction,the scores of students came from city are higher than students came from county.There is difference between students came from different places on the whole SWB, positive affect and negative affect.The difference is significant between students came from different places on study stress,the scores of students came from county are higher than students came from city on study stress. 3.There is no difference between classes on the whole SWB, life satisfaction and positive affect,but the difference is significant on negative affect.All of components of SWB,the scores of senior class students are higher than junior class students.The difference is significant between classes on life events, the scores of senior class students are higher than junior class students,that is to say,the number of life events which senior classes students face is more than junior classes students. 4.Hate studying,poverty,be discriminated,be stolen or losing something and the death of relatives are effective predictors of college students' whole SWB.Poverty,hate studying and heavy study burden are effective predictors of college students'life satisfaction. Hate studying,failure of examination,having a fight with others and study stress from family are effective predictors ofcollege students' positive affect.Heavy study burden, be discriminated, hate studying, the death of relatives,having a bad relation with teachers,failure of examination, be criticized or punished,other things,leaving from family for a long time and be stolen or losing something are effective predictors of college students' negative affect. 5.Coping style can moderate effect of some of life events on the whole SWB,life satisfaction,positive affect and negative affect.Social support can moderate effect of some of life events on the whole SWB and positive affect. 6.Negative coping style is a mediator factor between life events and college students' SWB. 7.Social support is a mediator factor between life events and college students' SWB, life events is a mediator factor between social support and college students' SWB,in other words,social support can weaken or evaluate the relation between life events and college students' SWB.
