The Spreading Of Christianity In Xinjiang From Late Qing Dynasty To The Republic Of China

Xinjiang is a very important land passage for the communication between eastern and western cultures. The study on the Christianity in Xinjiang is very important not only in the history of Xinjiang religion but also for the research on the history of Chinese Christianity .This dissertation focuses on the spreading of Christianity in Xinjiang from 1878to 1948 . It is inclinded to discuss that how Christianity survived and developed in a society which Islam religion effect of religious spreading on the Xinjiang society. The whole dissertation is composed by four parts. The first part: The brief account of the history of spreading of Christianity in Xinjiang before Qing dynasty based on relating historic materials. It mainly retells the Nestorian's rough history in Xinjiang. The second part: The spreading and the development of Christianity in late Qing dynasty in xinjiang.
