Wang Fuzhi, one of outstanding scholars of our history, whose works aimed directly at returning to the times when Confucius built his doctrine, which characterized his poetics as well. As Confucius thinks that the art must be worked for merit-developing of human being, so did Wang. In Jianzhai Shihua, one of his masterpieces, Wang pointed out that an excellent work must and should be a reflection of the top-ranked quality of its author, in return it means arousing and developing the counterpart of its readers. This is one aspect of his poetics, and that why Wang thought so is another aspect of his thinking, because in his research lies a consideration that the chain formed by the writing, the author and the reader cannot be cut down, which was initiated by Confucius but was improved by Wang so loftily, and by which the poet works. It is the two aspects mentioned above constructed the core of his poetics, and all of his poetic thoughts were unfolded around them.
