Confucius's Thinking Of The Ideal Personality

This paper based on the Confucius's thinking of the ideal personality as the research object, utilize the method of philosophy, psychology, literature and comparative cultural, to show the ideal personality about "adult", "gentleman", "benevolent" and "saints" by study "The Analects", reveals the moral, aesthetic and spiritual value of the ideal personality, and talk over the training and education thinking around the "ambition of establishing", "cultural learning", "cultivation of virtue","moral fulfillment","ritual practice", "art of the mold" and "destiny of insight" ("to know fate").This paper argues that the Confucius's thinking of the ideal personality not only provide unique resources for the globalization cross-cultural communication, but also have important significance for construct socialist core value system and shape the ideal personality of college students.
