This thesis mainly studies the technique of orchestration on Zhu Jian'er 's symphonies from the angle of orchestration, and it's worth proving a principle of blending which embodies the technique of orchestration his symphonies. The full text is divided into two parts.The first part is created for the Zhu Jian'er and his music, total three. Chapter 1 is an introduction to Zhu Jian'er's trip of music, achievement of composition and the honor that he acquired. Chapter 2 is a summarization about his three periods of music composition and his thinking of composition which mainly regards A Principle of Blending as. Chapter 3 simply introduces the background of composition and the characteristics of his symphonies.The second part is a textual point, which mainly analyzes Zhu Jian'er's symphonies from the angle of orchestration technique with three chapters. Chapter 1 analyzes the characteristics of orchestration technique on his symphonies from the macroscopic angle—the establishment of band. Chapter 2 analyzes the characteristics of orchestration technique on his symphonies from the angle of tiny view—the resources of acoustics (musical instrument). Chapter 3 discusses the characteristics of acoustical compounding on his symphony composition. It mainly study the technique of orchestration on Zhu Jian'er's symphonies from tackling the individuation of the instrumental voice part, the characteristics of acoustical compounding on lengthways voice parts, and the transverse disposal of timbre, etc.Through above research and analysis, the author sums up the following conclusion: Zhu Jian'er maintains a principle of blending, which is also embodied on his technique of orchestration. He creatively blends the Chinesefolk music , the technique of performance on Chinese musical instruments and the western modern technique of orchestration, which forms the personal characteristics.
