By going out of study and moving towards cutural sites of Chinese tradition in the1980's to 1990's, scholar Yu Qiuyu had chose a new way which was full of unknown andchallenge. It opened a new writing practice and life pattern and caused a extensiveattracting attention.It was the wandering orientation of Yu Qiuyu that has not only connectedhistorical and modern spirit in the sites of " humane mountains and rivers but alsosurmounted individual life quality and explored new ways for every kind of life predicament.This paper describes it from three respects. First, the original intention of Yu Qiuyu'schoosing wandering; In Yu Qiuyu's view,it was his wandering intentation that to pursueperfect human nature and to release one's own heart by the call of wildness in lifeconsciousness. Second, the feeling of traveling on the way.In this part, it describes somethings as follows: He tried his best to find the culture root of the life in historic sites;Hethought about the topic of the life predicament when facing the fact " the full slander ofreputation is grown ";He examined the ones that still survived after passing through manydifferent places to Chinese civilization. It made his self-value come true when Yu Qiuyu havewrotten some books and participated positively in transformation period such as culture onthe way of traveling. Third, dealing with the predicament in life. This part has explained thefact that it was his wandering purpose that Yu Qiuyu wanted to break out of the spiritpredicament.In this sense,wandering is an original life question when human wern born andit has already been destined to the mankind. Because of the exploration spirit and lifeconsciousness of looking for human's spiritual home ,the human being would can't get rid ofeternal wandering.
