An Investigation Of Artistic Information Resources Sharing

The thesis analyzes the concepts of the two terms "art" and "information", probes into the relation between art and information on philosophical, disciplinary, and everyday life layers, and then reveals that information is indispensable to art and that the in-formation reflected, transmitted and understood in the process of artistic acts, and the information related to artistic acts or artistic products comprise artistic information. Based on these investigations, the author puts forward the concept of "artistic information resources", which refers to the aggregate of various artificial information that has been organized and processed by human beings, can be stored and withdrawn and can meet human needs. Artistic information resources being a subset of information resources, its sharability should be emphasized so that the key feature that information resources are different from material resources is highlighted.The significance of artistic information resources sharing within the paradigm of academic researches includes the following: fully passing down and inheriting artistic heritages, deeply understanding the meanings and truly realizing the functions of artistic rpoducts. Its significance with the paradigm of the construction of Chinese artistic courses lies in that it is an essential sign of the fulfillment of the idea of "Three Represent's", that it is an innate requirement of scientific innovations, and that it will improve the current state of the construction of Chinese artistic courses and better preserve Chinese art treasures.The thesis takes the artistic information resources sharing of art colleges as an example to examine the principles, model programs, and procedures of artistic information resources. Against the background of the Internet environment, this thesis advances the following requirements for the realization of artistic information resources sharing: to base itself in the Internet environment, to configure appropriately the artistic information resources on the Internet, to strengthen the construction of characteristic Internet artistic information resources, to reinforce the macrocontrol and improve organizational coordination, to increase the exploitation of Internet artistic information, to enhance the consulting service of Internet artistic information and heighten the demands on the construction of artistic information resources sharing websites. In addition, the author also points out such attention-deserving problems as information security, intellectual property rights, standardization, personnel training, and financial input.
