The works by Hanqing GUAN is the historical symbol in the development of the Chinese drama. His works reflects the reality of the life and the society during the dynasty by portraying the role strongly, and contributes in a large scale to enhance the drama modality in accordance with the theme, personality, scenario and subjects. Thanks to the long-term living on the bottom of the society, he analyzed and recognized the nature of the society substantially and made his works as active as the power resources. In this article, I would like to target the social drama as the main researched objectives to analyze the social problems, the literati's psychology and the narrating operations in view of the historical origin, the social situations, the culture conflicts and other factors, and furthermore, discuss about the cultural cores, the life value and the drama views of Hanqing GUAN. There are 3 parts in this article.I, Foreword: Bounds of social drama, research meanings and methods of GUAN's social drama.II, Context PART1:Expatiate the social problems at that time through studying thesocial drama (marriage, love and children education) of Hanqing GUAN , including 3 chapters:Chapter 1: Prostitutes social roles changes. Present the images, the life status, the principal consciousness while pursuing the love and happiness of the prostitutes in Yuan Dynasty. Perceive Hanqing GUAN sympathize them and praise a positive attitude.Chapter 2: Children's education. Refract the social culture of Yuan Dynasty, reflect requirements for the Children and present the benthamism social value, according to the analysis of the "Utilitarian Education for Children ".Chapter 3 Amphoteric relations: Be initiative in love, reserve the freedom of a re-marriage of the widow, take part in the social activities, impact on the traditional culture between the heterogeneous social culture in Yuan Dynasty.PART 2:Unscramble the cultural cores and expatiate the literati's pangs, as per the analysis of the history culture background in Yuan Dynasty, including 3 chapters:Chapter 1: Love knot of traditional literati. Recall and express the affirmation of the virtue of the literati, yearn to the imperial examinations through depicting Ying Shifu and Dayin QIAN and officers family CHEN in the "Utilitarian Education for Children ".Chapter 2: Self-estimate and self-abasement. Decide the thinking way according to the literati social position in Yuan Dynasty, loss the promotion advantages and the possibilities: well-educated but neglected, difficult to implement the Confucianism, placed at pangs.Chapter 3: Value-tendency of GUAN. Analyze his point of view in 2 sections: one, value tendency for woman.
