The thoughts of Yin—Yang and Five Elements started with the Qi Culture. Eight God offers us an important clue of the thoughts of Yin—Yang and Five Elements. The thought of Yin—Yang came from the worship of the Sun God and the Month God. The thought of Five Elements came from the one of the Four Season God. The primitive quality of the Yin—Yang theory and the Five Elements theory has been reflected from the worship of Eight God. This has established the foundation for later on development of the thoughts of Yin—Yang and Five Elements in the Qi Culture. In the Spring and Autumn Period, beyond the range of Qi State, the thoughts of Yin—Yang and Five Elements spread in all of the states. Getting rid of the religious marks of the worship of the Sun ,Month and Four Season God, the thoughts of Yin—Yang and Five Elements in "Zuo Zhuan"and "Guo Yu"gradually became the philosophical concept with the abstract meaning. People increasingly found the relationship between the Yin —Yang and Five Elements. This reflected the development of the philosophical abstract thought. The thought of Five Elements of "The Art of War"was the represent of the thought of Five Elements in Qi State. The thought of "Five Elements not always inhibition"is filled with the Dialectical Materialism. In the War State Era, the thoughts of Yin—Yang and Five Elements developed rapidly. The theory of "Wu Shi Ji Zheng", which was based on the four season concept of the Dongyi Tribal Groups, became the mainstream of the academic thought. The Confucian humanitarianism and "harmonious coexistence"thought was its main contents and the Yin—Yang and Five Elements mode was its framework. The doctrine of "harmonious coexistence"formed an integral system in the Qi Culture. It is the achievement of the times that Yin—Yang School integrated the Confucianism and the Mohism.
