A Research On Fang Yang

Fang Yang (1540—1583), whose name was Sishan, titled as Chu’an. He was the litterateur in Huizhou city during the years of Wanli in Ming dynasty. He was specialized in articles and poems. He had passed the imperial examination in the fifth year of Yang Longqing and being an official in Shanzhou. He had retired from job and returnd to home in his old age because of illness. He passed away at his home in the eleventh year of Wanli. His books included of such manuscripts:In the Mountain, Yanzhong, Zhongzhou, Nanshu and so on. Apart from some manuscripts had lost, others had been consolidated by his disciple called He Canran and collected into The Si Ku Quan Shu which were titled as the Set of Fang Chu’an in total of 16 volumes.The introduction researched the aim and significance of the topic of the paper, research status and research methods and ideas, innovations and elaborate paper. Themes section is divided into four parts, mainly from the lineage Life, Friendship, poetry creation and prose creation four areas discussed comprehensively and systematically, digging up the.spiritual intension of his works, studying his artistic features.The first chapter was the Dynasty-Fang Yang family background, life and writings. Lineage Dynasty section is based on the Zhe Yuan Fang family genealogy referencing to the relevant poem and essay, local records and other document literatures, examines the origins and development of Zhe Yuan Fang family in detail, and discusses the impact of FangYang family tradition on the formation of FangYang’s literary thoughts, then research Fang Yang’s life experiences, in order to be able to understand his thoughts and personality traits; and finally the research side of Yang’s books, comprehensive available information, reviewed all its works.The second chapter researched Yang’s Friendship. In order to outline the scope of his Friendship, Friendship special column attached to the text after the summary table, and in this chapter I selected some close contacts between Fang and his friends, these were discussed in details.The third chapter is the other main speaker for the study of poetry, this chapter is the key part of the paper, first the content of poetry from start to classify research, and secondly, on the artistic features poems were summarized.The fourth chapter is doing other research of prose of Yang. Firstly, as a whole overview to all his prose. Then giving the classified study to Biographies monument, the preface and the book slips which were regarded as the strong and representative style in literature. And I focus on the analysis of his work Features.Finally, I give the work of Fangyang named "Friendship summary table" and "Chronology compendium." as the Appendix.
