The Changes Of Military Power And The Decline Of Regality In The State Of Jin In Sping And Autumn

It had been a universal thing that the transfer of military power lead to the decline of regality in the feudal states in Spring and Autumn. Writer believe that the Enfeoffment System ,the System of Officials-hereditary and the System of No-professional Armed Forces were the root cause. In these systems, the armed forces were divided into two parts, Guoren and Sishu; the control of military power stemmed from the control of the civilian in the feudal states, and the control of military power based on the control of the civilian.The decline of regality was cased by the changes of strength about Guoren and Sishu . The state of Jin carried out a system of country, implementing the Enfeoffment System at the same time. The Country of Jin became the orbit of every minister later, which was equal to fief in nature. Gradually the military power of Jin was on control of several main ministers, and consequently the regality of Jin transferred to the several main ministers.There was a special way through which the military power affected regality in the feudal states in Spring and Autumn. Writer divided the military power of the feudal state into two forms, the military power in the time of war against other states and the military power in the other time. We can't find any example that the military power in the time of war against other states directly participated in the armed conflict of interior. We defined the other form of military power as the control the first kind and the second kind people which were subjected to all sides. The kind ofmilitary power was decisive to the situation of inner power in the feudal states. In the later stage of Jin, the several main ministers began to be concerned about the management of their fiefdoms or countries, and the control of the third kind of people became to the important part of the military power in the time of no-war against other states.
