A Confirmatory Factor Analysis On The Structure Of 3～5 Years Old Preschool Children's Self Control And It's Development

Self-control is very important for the success in society.Childhood is the stage for the emergence and development of self-control,so it is necessary to do research on the development of preschool children self-control.Confirmatory factor analysis was deployed to study the 3~5 years old preschool children's structure of self control, and the results show that it consists of four dimensions: continence, persistence, consciousness and self imposed delay of gratification, the relations among them are isolative and correlative. According to the results, we designed two observing field experiments, and compared the results from experiments and questionnaire, it can be found that these two results with higher conherence, and it shows that the questionnaire has good reliability and validity. This thesis focuses on the components of preschool children self-control and age and sex difference by the questionair on the developmental level of prechool children self-control assessed by teachers. The research result indicates the following suggestions:(1)"the questionair on the development of preschool children self-control assessed by teachers"has reliability and validity;(2)preschool children self-control consists of continence, consciousness, persistence,delay of gratification;(3)preschool children self-control increases with age;(4)preschool children self-control has obvious sex difference.
