The liberation movement of China's women came to a new period in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. Enlightened women got on China's speakmaking stage to express themselves with unprecedented position and attitude via compiling newspapers, establishing organizations. They strongly criticize the system of feudalism, publicize equality ideas between sexes with great efforts, try for equal rights, throw themselves in the onrush of anti-Qing Dynasty and patristic movement, perform citizen's obligations. Their activity above made up of the vivid picture of women's liberation movement. The dissertation made some expounding only concentrated on their equality ideas and sense of obligation.There are four parts in the thesis: the content of the first part is on the advancement and development of equality ideas; the second is on the idea of going in for equal rights; the third focuses on the idea of conform to equal obligation; the forth is mainly on the emergence, development, causes and characteristics of the equality idea and right sense.
