The reigns of KYQ of Qing Dynasty is a historical period in which Taiwan education had experienced its establishment, development and reached its climax. Varieties of schools and academies of classical learning came into being in a short time and the speed of education development was in top place of the whole country, and all this had played great role in reinforcing transition of Taiwan society, economic development and cultural prosperity. Therefore, it is an important part of studies on the history of Taiwan to make a through investigation into the process of education development and its effects over Taiwan society. On the basis of consulting as many historical materials as possible, this thesis concentrates on the comprehensive examination of the process of establishment and development of various schools and academies of classical learning in Taiwan and its characteristic of education administrative system, during the Reigns of Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, and proceeds to a preliminary study of some issues existed among the historical scholars and then makes a further systematic comment on the regional characteristics of Taiwan education and its effects over Taiwan society. I hope this research paper present the development history and its characteristic of Taiwan education in the regions of KYQ more exactly and comprehensively and play some supplementary role for the further study of Taiwan's history and the education history of Qing Dynasty.
