Sparta State is a world well-known and very distinctive state in ancient Greece. Its characteristics mainly show in the great disparity of the proportion of citizens and non-citizens and the militarization of social regime. The Spartan women, living in this regime, represented their larruping characteristics. Under the influence of military supremacy, the women were closely related with the military community from their birth to grown-up and from their marriage to social status.Viewed from women's birth, the country not only attached importance to eugenics and the quality of species before women's birth but also paid attention to the quality of their food by giving the matter further thought.Viewed from women's growth, the country thought much of their overall development. There were corresponding measures on their reading and writing comprehensions, music, physical training and art.Viewed from women's marriage, separation system, wife-sharing system and the punishment to non-conjugal people were apparently related to the environment of military community.Viewed from women's social status, Spartan women were different from women of the Perioeci, the Helots and the Athens, although they dropped out of the military affairs or the management of the country. They participated in the military affairs and the management of the country indirectly. They have their social status in economy, education and politics, which were not possessed by the ancient Greek women. They had the highest social status in the world ancient civilizations.
