The Literature Of The Late Han Dynasty Under The Disasters Of Danggu

This article mainly has a study on the literature of the later Han dynasty under the disasters of Danggu. According to the contents, it has been divided into three chapters.Chapter 1 is mainly having a study on the disasters of Danggu and its history and culture surrounding. After the middle of Easter Han, the politics of this dynasty was becoming decadent. The Intellectuals that were educated by the sprit of Confucianism have drastic struggles to the eunuch group, and the disasters of Danggu were the direct consequence of these struggles. The conflict between the stupid emperors and the spirit of Confucianism, the social custom of Attaching importance to honorary, and the rising of criticism had great roles on the development of Danggu. The cruel political struggles proved the reviving of the thought of TaoChapter 2 is mainly having a study on the ideology of scholars under the disasters of Danggu from three parts: the active mentality of being participated in government and political affairs, the mentality of self-protection, the mentality of puzzle, which means the hesitation between enjoying material comforts and sadness.In Chapter 3, by taking the scholars' attitude to different literary styles for main line, we have a study on the literature of the late Han dynasty under the disasters of Danggu. To every literary style, the influence of Danggu is different, direct or indirect. Actually, the disasters of Danggu have the greatest, most direct effect on official, folk song and saying; through letter, poet and verse, the scholars can exchange their emotions and unbosom themselves; inscription on stone tablet reflects the common practice of personage judgment; Zishu gives expression to the scholars' introspection and summary of society and politics of later Han dynasty. At last, we have a study on the literature ideas of the late Han dynasty under the disasters of Danggu by doing a research of the School of Hongdu Gate. We concluded that the intellectuals have accepted the conception of literature independence universally because the violent political conflicts made the scholars throw themselves on art.
