English teaching should be an organism. In teaching, not only its completeness and integrity should be considered, but also each of its stages and the transition from one stage to another, in order to make a smooth transition between stages. The Senior English and College English should not be excepted from it. However, they are separated by people either consciously or unconsciously, which affects the macro control of English teaching in China seriously, and prevents the smooth teaching transition from Senior English to College English.To make a reasonable transition from Senior English to College English and make it a complete organism, questionnaires on English teaching transition are carried out in this research, and an analysis on the curriculums for Senior English as well as College English is made, which aims to obtain opinions on the problems that teachers and students meet during the transition. The process of analysis and comparison may help teachers gain some understanding on teaching, which will in turn have positive influence on their teaching.
