Along with the 20-year-long history of the performances of popular music and theacademic Chinese vocality, the current culture situation and mainstream is graduallypaving the way for Chinese original folk songs to a glorious position, which is a verysubtle but potential-great event influencing the mass communication such as TV , thedomestic cultural market and the ideas of music academia, and it is proper andmeaningful to value and rediscover this event..After a definition of given by three standards concerning with original folk songs inpreface, in Chapterâ… , the author briefly focuses on both the connotation andextension of original folk songs, so as to take a ontological discussion under thesystem of cultural axiology, in terms of musicology, cultural anthropology andsociology.In Chapterâ…¡, the author outlines the history of the original folk songs in the field ofmass communication, especially in TV. Then a detailed analysis is provided, with theexamples of two famous CCTV programs associated with original folk songs andmerit-measurements.In Chapterâ…¢, the author reviews the axiology of original folk songs in TVcommunication in a deeper, rational way. Two vital phrases, Holographic Merit andVisual-Audio Merit are created as the new characterizations of original folk songs,with the solid background of quantitative analytical data applied in TV programresearch.Combined with three foresee-perspectives in original folk songs axiology, aconclusion is made with the summary of practical difficulties and potential factors.
