A Kind Of Training Experiment About Improving The Interpersonal Trust Among The Undergraduates

This study explored the effect of the training manners and cognitive style on the 195 sophomore in the university, which influenced interpersonal trust among the undergraduates. The study tried to find an effective way to improve the level of interpersonal trust especially those owed lower level on it. Two independences were cognitive style(field-dependent , field- independent) and training manners(film-course, group training, mental healthy course, on-line learning). Dependence was the level of the interpersonal trust, the level had two parts, and they were the company trust and common trust.The results indicated:(1) All of the manners improved the level about the company trust obviously. The effects of the film course and group training were much better than the effects of mental healthy course and on-line learning, on the total accounts of company trust and the improvement of predictability; film course, group training and mental health training had no different effect, but their effects were better than the on-line learning; the effect of group training was better than the other training manners from the point of the improvement of interpersonal trust's degrees. In conclusion the best two training manners were film course and group training, the second was mental health course, on-line learning was the worst one.(2) Four manners improved the level of the common trust, but the differences among the manners were not significant.(3) There was training manners and cognitive style interaction effects on the common trust, but there was significant interaction effects on the company trust. It said in this way that no significant effects among the film course, group training and mental health training, the effect of on-line learning was significant lower than the other manners, all these results were for the students whom belonged to the field-independent.; the effect of group training was much better than mental healthy course and on-line learning, the effect of film course was better than mental healthy course, all these results were for the students whom belonged to the field-dependent. The mental healthy course had a significant role on the students whom had different cognitive style, the trainings, on the students whom belonged to field-independent, were better than those belonged to field-dependent distinctively.
