The Ralationship Research Between Coping Style And Interpersonal Trust, And Between Personality Traits And Interpersonal Trust Of College Students

The research in Interpersonal Trust is thought highly more and more by sociologist and psychologist. Among many factors which the Interpersonal Trust is influenced, it is not only significant for improving the personality states of students'personality at the vocational college , enhancing their coping strategem and promoting their skills of the interpersonal communication, but aslo it will provide bases for college educational teaching to inspect the relations among the coping style, personality traits and interpersonal trust.In this article, 307 students from two vocational colleges have been tested on coping style, interpersonal traits and interpersonal trust bv the way of Coping Test, Eysenck Personality Questionary and Interpersonal Trust Scale. The result is following:I . Female students in Expression Coping Style get higher marks apparently than male students. Male and female students in the other factors of Coping Style are no enviously diffenenc. Science Departement students in Fantasy Coping Style get higher marks apparently than Literal Arts students. Science Departemnets' and Literal Arts' in the other Coping Style are no differential.II. Male students in P factor got higher marks than female students. Male and female students are apparently no differential in the testing of E factor and N factor. Male Science Departement students in the P factor got higher marks than Literal Arts stduents, and the two departements students are on differential in E factor and N factor.III. N factor, P factor and the Inerpersonal Trust present positive correlation. The Coping Style of Problem -Solving and the Interpersonal Trust present negative correlation. Fantasy Coping Style and the Interpersonal Trust present positive correlation. The Coping Style of Problem-solving and E factor-present positive correlation, but with N factor and P factor present negative correlation. Fantasy Coping andN factor , P factor presetive positive correlation.IV . The Coping Style of Problem-solving , N factor to the Interpersonal Trust present apparently regression effect, N factor and the Coping Style of Problem-solving to the Interpersonal Trust present predict fanction.V. The Interpersonal Trust is directly affected by N factor and the Coping Style of Problem-solving. The Interpersonal Trust is indirectly affected by E factor through the Coping Style of Problem-solving. The Interpersonal Trust is indirectly affected by Fantasy Coping, Dodged Coping and E factor through N factor. The Interpersonal Trust is indirectly affected by E factor, Toleranbility Coping, Help-seeking Coping and Outlet Coping through the Coping Style of Problem-solving.A newly creation in this thesis is that the Coping Style .Personality Traits and Inrterpersonal Trust were combined each other while discovered the complexed relationship and Pass-model amony them.
