This research adopted a 2×2×2 between-subject design , including threeexperiments in which between healthy-sighted people and the weak-sighted subjectswere separately asked to perform simple detection, sound localization and frequencydiscrimination tasks in order to explore the interaction between location-andfrequency-based auditory inhibition of return (IOR) and the effect of different taskdemands between them。The results showed that among the weak-sighted,IOR is alsoa common-existing inhibiting phenomenon。Between the two kinds of subjects, thereare significant interaction between location-and frequency-based auditory IOR andthe pattern of the interaction changed with task demands。Furthermore, the experimentclearly analyses and explains the influenced relationship between correlative andnon-correlative task demands, and provides experimental references and theoreticalsupports for the current IOR theory from a new point of view。...
