On Narrative Time And Space In Zhang Ailing's Novels

Based on stylistics, esthetic theory and metropolis culture, this paper, guided by narratology, mainly researches on the application of techniques of narrative time and space. By analyzing of typical text the author thinks that the application of narrative time and space in Zhang's novels realizes the function of esthetic and narration, and plays an evitable role in expressing content of text and author's intention. Meanwhile this paper also discusses the feature of combination of narrative factors—time and space. These account for the modernized style of Zhang's narrative approach and prove Zhang's special contribution to modern stylistics in her novels.
