In order to deal with the phenomena of the "deaf-mute English" andwasting time for low efficiency in English teaching, to embody theposition of " student-subject " adequately , to cultivate thegroup-cooperation of students,to educate the students to be accustomedto taking an active part in self-study,self-restriction,self-managementand to make students get ready for social profession and life-long study,this thesis put Learning Organization Theory into Vocational CollegeEnglish teaching to analyze the feasibility in the reality of VocationalCollege English teaching from educational theory and test it in practice.It is considered feasible to apply Learning Organization Theorydeveloped profoundly with the thoughts or theories of education inVocational College English teaching. The application starts with theinvestigation on English teaching actuality, then the Learning Classcomes into being and the class is divided reasonably into several groups.The corresponding learning targets are laid down combining with theteaching targets and assignments, and then teaching and learningactivities are carried out. Aided by investigations,requires,teacher's andstudents' diaries and so on. The effects are analyzed and summarizedwhich guides the practice to continue.Learning Organization Theory brings us a satisfying teaching effectswhen it is used in vocational English teaching, embodying the spirit of"person-subject" fully in the activities of learning Organization and opensa brand-new view for us to engage in English teaching theory andpractice.
