Our country is the great family of 56 nationalities .All the nationalities have a long history with the culture goes back to ancient times .Due to the different nature conditions and social customs ,there are lots of differences on clothes and ornaments of minority nationalities between the northern part and the southern part of China ,and between the mountain area and the grassland which show different styles and characteristics. Different nature conditions ,mode of production ,habits and customs create the different national disposition and psychology. The "Reform and Open door" policy has given a great change in life style of the people of our whole country .the development of commodity economy has brought energies and information on various fields to the people of minority nationalities who live in the backward mountain areas.Of course including the information about modern dressing materials and designs .In this case ,the national costume culture of China minority nationalities is facing a great pounding .Thus it can be seenthat the burden is heavy and the road is long to found the course of national costume culture of minority nationalities .To collect and study the national traditional costumes should be strengthened in progress urgently .We must save the resources of the national costumes of minority nationalities positively and immediately in order to avoid the lost of some distinctive national costumes .The researching target of this thesis is intended for Daur national costume .Daur nationality is a typical northern minority nationality with a sparse population in our country .At present ,people of Daur are most assimilated as Han nationality in the mode of production and the way of life .The culture of traditional costumes is serious lost .People are not very concerned by the society . Research contents are just simply stayed on the culture analyses of costume introductions, habits and customs .The research of technology , dressing details ,embroidery and designs are not enough .But ,these are the gem of the national costume culture of Daur nationality .They are the technological bases which the Daur costume rely on .They are art treasures can be exploited to full use and bring benefits to mankind .So with this thesis I hope to do a bit on these fields through the wide spread and profound research .Besides ,to carry forward the national costume culture of Daur nationality and its technology are not only related the protection of Daur costume ,but also related the traditional means of life of Daur people .Through study on the spot investigation in regions where Daur nationality live in compact communications ,there are many pictures and materials which are collected in this thesis for thinking and studying .In terms of theory ,it can help people deeply understand the culture of Daur costume and make a bit contribution to build up and improve the costume culture of China minority nationalities.In terms of reality ,through the study of Daur costume it can help us to explore the key points with modern dressing designs .Sam up the common characteristics of national costume and modern dressing designs .In order to expand and improve the national traditional costume ,explore the more cream of the costumes of minority nationalities of our country ,make a greater contribution to lead the costumes of China minority nationalities go abroad to the world ,to the costume exchange between the home and abroad .
