This thesis analyzes the political dream and literary dream of He Qifang, which are complicated and interrelated, combined with literary works of He Qifang in each period, and investigates the pilgrimage of He Qifang from one of "the HanYuan's three poets" with great reputation to the important spokesman of party literary policy.To analyze the original reason of He Qifang's first choice of art and the root of personality formation from the aspect of childhood shadow, to figure out the intrinsic spirit of He Qifang by explaining the imagery of 'youth god' and seeking out the corroborative relationship between them, getting to a conclusion that it's destined for He Qifang to choose art road. In the poetry anthology of YuYan, The construction of He Qifang's literary dream consists of three stages: youth affliction, depressed sensation, realistic approach. YuYan manifests the different artistic styles in different periods and psychic change from void dream to the realistic road.There are inevitable and accidental reasons why He Qifang constructs political dream. This artical elucidates another possibility of the development of He Qifang's essay by comparing the different attitude from LiuXiwei and AiQing to HuaMengLu and analyzing the requirement and influence to He Qifang which comes from art environment. The vulgar personality and the negation of ego make He Qifang produce the expiation consciousness, and weaken the power of literary dream, meanwhile, strengthen the power of political dream.In combination with the text analysis of YeGe, comprehension of the painful and fighting and self-contradictory soul in the process of changing between literature and political dream has been achieved in this thesis form the angle of nature imagery, love imagery and person imagery. The method of construction of political dream is to abide by what MaoZedong has said about literature, without any changes, which can be seen from the first literary controversy with HuFeng. But there is still waking up of literary dream even when political dream has presided in the soul of He Qifang, which displays the pursuit of the art, the dignity and self-contradictory of personality.
