On The Academic Career And Achievements Of Mr. Zhou Binjun

Zhou Binjun was the professor of Chinese department in Hunan Normal University. He was a famous linguist who was the tutor of masters and enjoyed the subsidiary of the government. He was one of the most important scholars in the linguistic field. Mr. Zhou was like the other scholars who was the witnesses of the May Fourth and suffered much from the old social situation. His study is on the basis that any ideas should be made by himself. The broad knowledge and unique intelligence of Mr. Zhou made his study systemic, which has a very deep influence abroad. Because of his hard work and his so many students his academic achievements and status are like the high Tai mountain, which are valued at anytime and anywhere.The present study focuses on the biology, literature works and academic achievements of Mr. Zhou. The origin, connotation and application of his ideas will be studied systemically in this paper. The purpose is to represent the achievements of Mr. Zhou and his deep influence to the development of linguistics. The data of this paper is on the basis of Mr. Zhou's works, related literature works and the relative research papers of the later scholars. The present study can be divided into three parts: research career, academic career, research method and particularity.
