Study On Academic Achievement And Academic Thought Of Wang Baoxin

Wang Baoxin was a famous master of Sinology in Modern China, he has written more than170species of books, including Chorography, History, Literature Education, and so on. In each field, he has achieved striking success. This paper systematically combed the academic experience of Wang Baoxin and studied his academic achievement and academic thought.This article was divided into three parts, the first part introduced Wang Baoxin’s academic life, described his academic experience, and sketched his school life from Ziyun Xiangshu to Jinggu Shuyuan, then to Lianghu Shuyuan, which was in order to analyze his early knowledge structure.The second part introduced the academic achievement of Wang Baoxin. This part described his important contributions on writting the history of revolution, promoting Sinology, and editing the state literature. On compiling the history of revolution, Wang Baoxin has written Hubei Revolutionary Record, which has preserved rich historical data of the Revolution. On the carrying forward of Sinology, Wang Baoxin has written a series of school programs for Hubei Guoxue Museum. He has trained a large number of students, such as Hsu Fu-kuan. On preserving state documents, he was the Chief Editor of Hubei Wenzheng, Xu Hankou Congtan, and Zaixu Hankong Congtan.The third part studied Wang Baoxin’s academic thought, and analyzed his thought of History and Sinology. On History, Wang Baoxin proposed the idea of "living people can be wrote a biography in revolutionary history ", which was the transcendence of previous innovative.
