The course of electronic organ in Higher Normal College(HNC) is a comprehensive one which including the skills of keyboard play and musical instrument operation, melting some relative subjects such as study of the musical instrument, acoustics and study of the harmony together extensively. Through learning this course students can not only integrate the partial knowledge of divided subjects into a whole actively, but also learn about other musical instruments and widen their field of vision. The electronic organ teaching emphasize how to foster the students' capability of general design and enhance their comprehensive musical abilities from the simple musical skills training. Consequently, the electronic organ teaching in HNC have show it's positive meaning both in enhancing the students' self-quality but also realizing the connection of musical education between college and primary and middle school.Though people have some certain knowledge about the meaning of electronic organ in the musical teaching, however the construction and development of the electronic organ discipline in HNC is always far away from an ideal situation. The reason for one side is short of the theoretical guidance in macroscopic construction and for the other side is the absence of necessary attention to the research of the electronic organ teaching in HNC. On this account the research shows great necessity especially in how the electronic organ teaching comply with the demands of course teaching reform better and how to play a more active role in realize the training goal such as the qualities of comprehensive knowledge and the ability of innovation and practice about the musical discipline.This paper give some advice and countermeasures in accordance with the problem which occurred in the development of electronic organ teaching in HNC. The major method in this thesis is investigation, also there are some assist approach including questionnaire, process analysisand the summary of experience etc. with these methods , the author draw the following conclusion: the electronic organ teaching in HNC should be aware of the nature of electronic organ, lay stress on constructing a personify relationship between teachers and students, exercise the researching way in study, strengthen the fusion of inter-discipline and establish a reasonable appraisal system, the last but not the least is the electronic organ teaching should play a positive role in cultivate the student's comprehensive qualities and the ability of practice and innovation.
