Qixian country lies in the middle part of Shanxi, the south of Taiyuan basin.More and more specialist pay close attention to Qixian dialect because of its centre position in Jin dialect .It can be divided into two parts within Qixian dialect according to Changyuan river: the south-west part and the north-east part. On the basis of comparatively detailed and scientific investigation, this thesis use the method of describe linguistics to describe the phonological system of north-east part of Qixian dialect. Then we compare the phonological system of Qixian dialect with that in middle ancient times and Beijing dialect by the method of comparative linguistics and historical linguistics.The full thesis is divided into five parts altogether:Fist part have introduced county situation, history and dialectic differences. The author thinks that the cause of differences in Qixian dialect is influenced by other dialects adjacent to qixian country.Second part have described the phonological system of the Qixian dialect: 19 initials(include zero initial), 42 finals ,5 tones and tone sandhi. The author try to find out the type and regular of tone sandhi in Qixian dialect.The third part is the syllabary of homophones of Qixian dialect.
