A Study Of Phonology Of Linyi Dialect

Linyi county lies in the south of Shannxi Province .It boards Wanrong county in the north, links with Yongji city in the south, and with Yuncheng city in the southeast. Linyi dialect is divided into two districts: Yishi dialect and Linjin dialect. On the basis of comparatively detailed and scientific investigation ,this thesis use the method of describe linguistics to describe the phonological system of Linyi dialect with the overall narration to focus on.Then we compare the phonological system of Linyi dialect with that in middle ancient times and neighbourhood dialect by the method of comparative linguistics and historical linguistics.The full thesis is divided into five parts altogether.First part have introduced county situation , history , reseach overview of the dialect etc. of Linyi briefly. The educational circles of the dialect have differences to the circil of the dialect of Linyi county at present, there are four kinds of views of the Fenhe setion of Zhongyuan Mandarin, the Jin language which was belonged to the Mandarin,the transitional language of Zhongyuan Mandarin and Jin language, the Guanzhong section of Zhongyuan Mandarin if the Fenhe setion and Guanzhong section merges.Second part have described such phenomena of the phonological system and tone sandhi and rhtacizion of Linyi dialect,etc.emphasisly.The phonological system of Linyi dialect includes :27 initials( include zero initial ), 40 finals , 4 tone which produce 4 kinds of new tones from tone sandhi.The third part is the syllabary of homophones of Linyi dialect,include the everyday character of the pass sentence of chengguan town in Linyi more comprehensive, include a lot of characters of and have situation without words of sound.The fourth part and fifth part ,we first compare the phonological system of Linyi dialect with that in the middle ancient times by six parts.
