Adult Education In Revolutionary Bases

Adult education in revolutionary bases refers to the educational activities which were developed by CPC and focused on edults during the period from the failure of revolution in 1927 to the establishment of People's Republic of China in 1949. CPC led the Chinese people independently on the way of encircling the cities with the countryside and strove for the victories in those years. During this period of time, CPC and Chinese people achieved great success in politics and military as well as in education, especially in education of cadres and the masses.Adult education in the revolutionary bases which includes the education of cadres and the masses can be divided into three stages:Adult education in the Soviet Area(1927-1937) The Soviet Area is the revolutionary base established by CPC during the second revolutionary civil war. Adult education not only trained the cadres who satisfied the need of the anti-Japanese war but also developed the education of the masses which were helpful to wipe out illiteracy and enhance people's national consciousness and political standard.Adult education in liberated area during the Revolutionary War(1946-1949) Adult education in the liberated area which continued the national, scientific and popular educational policies combined the adult education with productive labor as well as combined the adult educational theory with the practice.
