Mass Culture Reforging The History

In recent years, teleplays based on history have become so popular that you can oftensee them on TV. The teleplays based on history have always been the objects for relaxingfor both the officers and the civilians in China. The teleplays based on history have becomeone of the basic ways in which Chinese think of history. The teleplays based on history arefine, lifelike and intricate, which can meet the needs of learning and relaxing. So theteleplays based on history not only disseminate the historical knowledge, but alsodisseminate the "truth". The audiences are tasting beauty when the enjoy the teleplay. Thegood teleplay can give the audience beauty and the aesthetic feeling, but the bad adverse.Based on aesthetics theory and the theory of communication this dissertation analysesthe audiences' accepting psychology and the need of aesthetic and the character of makingthe teleplays based on history. After that ,the author says that using high level art characterand morals in making teleplay is the basic principle in making teleplays based on history,and shows the directive meanings by using this method to make teleplays based on history.There are five parts in this article. In the first part, the author introduces the developmentof teleplays based on history, point out that the emergence of lots of historical teleplay isthe result of cultural conflicts of teleplay, and discuss the problem of in teleplays based onhistory. In the second part, the author analyses the physiology of audience of teleplaysbased on history, discusses the complex culture of teleplays based on history from theperspective of social culture, mass culture, communication culture and artistic culture. Inthe third part, the author discusses the produce of teleplays based on history. From theconcept,attitude,method and object of produce of teleplays based on history, the authorbrings forward the produce of teleplay should keep with the direction of advanced culture,the author brings forward the produce of teleplays based on history should take theprinciple of "historical truth". In the fourth part, the author discusses the produce ofteleplays based on history from the relation between narrative category and taste mentalityof audience, analyses the teleplays based on history is perfected step by step in flow ofhistory. The fifth part is the summarize of the article, the author brings forward that thesurvey of the produce of teleplays based on history is organic and from a lot point of view,so that we can grasp the character in teleplays based on history. An a learner and pursuer inbroadcasting art major, I would like to study in order to use and to consider the problems inmaking teleplays based on history, and to bring forward the idea that may helpful.
