Between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, asone of a traditional export ,Chinese tea is cogent .And Chinese tea also a importantsign of China's national image. On the international market and the domesticmarket ,the sale of Chinese tea come down by a large margin . In order to improve theinternational reputation of the Chinese tea and safeguard China's national right, anumber of enlightened local officer and entrepreneur initiate the improvementmovement of Chinese tea .Of course,they also want to modernize Chinese teaindustry .This is an important component of national movement to save ourselves andthe modernization movement .The movement also occupy a certain historical statusin the history of Chinese tea.
