Exploration To Common People's Consciousness About Ecological Environmental Protection In Dunhuang In Ancient China

On the basis of the Dunhuang Manuscripts, Dunhuang Frescoes and archaeological excavation, intergrading the classical books handed down from ancient times, this thesis tries to make a systematic study on formation and development of the consciousness of environmental protection of ancient people in Dunhuang from Han Dynasty to Yuan Dynasty, which will offer useful reference to rebuilding of ecological environment of Hexi region.This thesis is composed by four chapters.Chapter one mainly expounds the natural environmental conditions and the existing of environmental problems, and analysis of the cause of these environmental problems in Ancient Dunhuang.Chapter two mainly reviews the thought of the ecological environment protection in ancient China, and puts stress on the social background of the formation of the environment protection consciousness of ancient Dunhuang people.Chapter three is the core of this thesis. From the protection of vegetation, animal, water and land resource, It makes a systematic study on Formation consciousness of environmental protection of ancient people in Dunhuang from Han Dynasty to Yuan Dynasty.Chapter four is the last chapter. It mainly introduces environmental protection-related contents reflected in Confucian, Buddhism and Taoian thought and their influence on the environmental protection consciousness of the ancient Dunhuang people.
