The New Edition of the General Catalog Index of Dunhuang Literature, written by Mrs. Shi Puigting and other researchers of the Dunhuang institute,is mainly the amendment to The General Catalog Index of Dunhuang Literature which is written by Mr .Wang Chongming and Liu Mingshu. The section Sitanyinjie of The General Catalog Index of Dunhuang Literature includes an item about 'Benweng'. Containing most content of 'Benweng', the New Edition makes many corrections and supplements, so as to further increase information and research value of the book. However, we must pay more attention to the accuracy of the reference book since it makes great contribution to the research and development of Dunhuang research, philology and many other subjects,In recent years, many announcements of the datum of Dunhuang literature make it possible to revise the 'Benweng' of the section Sitanyinjie of The General Catalog Index of Dunhuang Literature again. As the revision to the literature ,this article makes some amendment to the 29 newly revised volumes of the 'Benweng' of the section Sitanyinjie of The General Catalog Index of Dunhuang Literature .These amendment are also based on the original volume.Textual research is an important content of this article. However, in the progress of proofreading the original volume.the writer finds out the reason why there are some errors in the original volum.That is mostly because of unknowing common saying phrase at that time.As a result, in the process of revising.the article gives some superficial analysis to part of the common saying. To sum up, this article tries to correct some confusions of the original copy amendment, in order to provide a full and accurate reference to other scholars.
