The Allusion Of Libai' Poetry

The research on Li Bai has always been the heat point of tang dynasty literature and even the Chinese literature. The study of Li Bai has been developed to an extremely thorough and profound level no matter it is in macro or micro perspective. As the subject of usage of allusion in Li Bai's works is merely complete, and that is operated by limited researchers based on their perceptual understandings. This thesis is formed on the base of reading the collection of Li Taibai, taking the perspective of Li Bai's mastery of allusions, and then the characteristics of allusion usage are naturally concluded, after this classified and thorough research. Finally, those characteristics reflect Li Bai's inheriting of the former culture and the acceptance of the temporary woks, which can also give us a clue of tracing the development of Li's thought.This thesis contains four parts:The first chapter, the clarification on the affair allusions appeared in Li's poems. Totally, there are three affair allusion groups which separately have something to do with people involved in politics, mysterious stuffs and shared the Wei and Jin style. Different groups of people have varied characteristics.The second chapter, classic examples define the features of Li's utterance allusion usage. At the beginning of this part, analyzed the tactics appears in the collection on songs, chuci, and poems written in Wei, Jin, and Nan chao dynasties. Compared with the former part, we can find Li's own way of dealing with the collection on songs, moreover, many of Li's tactics in literature creation are directly generated from the writers in former dynasties, especially for the Liuchao period, for instance, Bao Zhao, Xie Yao, Xie Lingyun,etc. the transferred usage of the Tang Dynasty's poets' strategy shows Li's respect for the temporary poets and the precious heritage the culture.The third chapter, analyze on Li tactics upon allusion usage, which may mainly be classified into two characteristics, first, the resource of allusions is abundant. Second, the usage of allusions is in various kinds. The fourth chapter traces the development of Li's thought. This is an analyze on Li's works in a chronological way on the basis of Mr. An Qi's collection of Li's works. The materials of this part are the allusions which showed Li's though well. Li's thought development can be classified into eight phases. "Setting mind", "bewildered", "effectiveness", "chasing the longevity and bailment", "seeking", "indignant", "lofty ideal", "persistence".This thesis is based on the mind of connecting the allusion usage with the poet's sorrowful life, and the further research may be needed.
