Music Concepts And Innovation Seeking Of Stockhausen

Karlheinz Stockhausen is the outstanding representative of"New Music"composer in 21century.As a composer with innovation spirit,he continually seek new expression for each work.His goal and idea is to create absolutely unheard"New Music"and bring forward absolutely unheard new sound and structure.Selecting Stockhausen as research objective and starting with his published sayings on music concept and musical works,this thesis analyzed and studied his music concepts and innovation means.The whole thesis is divided into three chapter is summarized as follows:The first chapter is titled as"Creation Road of Stockhausen"and simply introduced his early years'life,education and its representative music works and social activities. The second chapter is titled as"Music Concepts of Stockhausen".This part firstly extracts some representative and distinctive opinions from his daily sayings.Then,those opinions are grandually analyzed and expllained from the view of theory.Finally,some special music concepts of Stockhausen are summarized. This part is a key point of this article analyzed from the level of theory. It studys the unique music idea from four aspects of music and sound ,the music and the space,the music and the buhavior and the initiative"the world music".The third chapter is titled"Innovation Seeking in music skills of Stockhausen". Byanalyzing and studying some tupical music works of Stockhausen,this thesis summarized his breakthrough and development in music skills.This part researches his innovation technique from two aspects of the electronic music and the nonelectric music.Although some techniques doesn't originates Stockhausen ,he actually is the positive practicer ,and further innovates in the practice process according to his own intention Stockhausen music.
