Since the mankind has just entered into 21st century, there were many reports on human cloning in the newspaper. Though none of them got the general confirmation of the scientific circles, we are convinced that with the constant development of the cloning-for-therapy human cloning will come to this world one day sooner or later. Facing the development of the clone technology, someone is filled with exultation, someone is anxious and fearful, even someone thinks doomsday has already come. The academic discussion about the question of human cloning emerges in an endless stream too, different people have different views. This article first attempts to review the question of human cloning from the view of bioethics using the important method on the applied ethics—bi-direction reflection. Meanwhile, with the combination of the current technological situation of the development of human cloning, it makes the prospective prospect in the development of bioethics in the hope of that it can guide our action better.The first part of article is a preface. It mainly narrates the current situations of reason, purpose, meaning and research on studying that subject.The second part makes a brief instruction to the technology of human cloning and traces the source of bioethics at the same time.
