Next to the theory of Michel Foucault, there are other theories used for studying"body", at present. But on the Michel Foucault's theory, academe mainly pay more attention to the early metaphase"power"theory. That is to say there're not more attention paid to the late important"Technologies of the self"theory. As regards the summarizing, concluding, analyzing and using on the"Technologies of the self"theory, which is appearing in all the Michel Foucault's writings, interviews, essays, these works are very few. So I intend to analyze the theory, and conclude the theory. Moreover I will analyse the"survival aesthetics"thought and nowadays apocalypse of the theory. Here the intention of this paper to be divided into three chapters for discussion. Its contents are mainly the following :The chapter one: the generation and exploration of Michel Foucault's"Technologies of the self"thought. In the chapter, it will provides an overview about the ideological background of the times, direct source and the generation process, of the"Technologies of the self"thought. The ideological background of the era mainly is the rise of the"away the center"ideological tide. According to the Michel Foucault's words and some related study, it proves that the directly source of his ideological formation is mainly from Nietzsche and Heidegger. Thus, Michel Foucault made two famous notion or system,——"Archeology","Genealogy". Through the two tools, Michel Foucault was beginning to study his"Technologies of the self"thought.The chapter two: the"Technologies of the self"thought and its connotation. In the chapter, it will summarize the content of the"Technologies of the self"thought and analyze its connotation. The specific ideas mainly include three aspects. It includes the thought of"sex"technology, the thought of"solicitude of self"technology, the thought of"death/suicide, meditation/silence"technology. As for its thought, it expresses a connotation of extremely aesthetic concern on"personal survival".The chapter three: the thought of the survival aesthetics of the"Technologies of the self"and its nowadays apocalypse. In this chapter, it'll further analyze the survival aesthetics connotation of the"Technologies of the self", on the basis of the Foucault's"Technologies of the self"thought. And it'll to think deeply the current situation of the people survival.
