Research On The Semantic Matching Mechanism Of Cunzai Construction

"Shanshang jiazhe pao"can express either active or state.It is an ambigutive construction. we can eliminate ambiguity by changing the spatial quantity , or the subcategory of the verb, or the surface form of the NP that is at the end of the sentence.Only analyzing one part of the sentence is not conceivable.We think that every part of the sentence is not independent ,but exist in relation.They check each other's feature so that trigerring diffenent meaning of its own which match each other well in order to lead to correct understanding.We call this procession Semantic Matching Mechanism.The paper is organized as follows:First, guided by Goldberg(1995),we try to find the relationship between verb and construction.We think the intention degree of the verb action is one of the reasons that cause ambiguity .Second, according to their spatial quantity,figure and groud form a kind of proportion which in our mind is spatial dimention.The prototype schema of telic existion is two dimention,while action event's prototype schema is three dimention. Last,we raise the conception—decompose noun and nondecompose noun.
